Dear Ms. Meier,
I have read all the Lucy Stone books and have enjoyed them very much. I met you a number of years ago
when you spoke at the Reading Public Library. Ms. Meier you are certainly entitled to your opinions but I
was offended by your book Silver Anniversary Murder. Not all of your readers are liberals, some of us do
not support Planned Parenthood and definitely not abortion. I was very disappointed in Lucy. I am not trying
be disrespectful to you but I felt that I had to voice my opinion. Thank you for your time.

Hello Leslie. I just finished ‘Silver Anniversary Murder’ and as usual, loved it! I wrote to you clear back in 2001 and you graciously wrote back with a postcard cover of ‘Wedding Day Murder’. I still have it. 🙂 I just wanted to write again and tell you, you are my favorite author. I love that Lucy and the other characters have real everyday lives. The only downside when reading your books is that I get little else done! LOL But no worries…I’m retired so it’s all good. 🙂 Take care.
